Dark Side of the Moon

devin hesterIn what is already becoming a viral video sensation, Chicago Bear’s receiver Devin Hester’s ass is exposed in all of it’s glory in slow motion replay on NBC’s Football Night in America this past Sunday night against the Eagles.

Hester was reaching for one of the many poorly thrown balls from Jay Cutler when Eagles defensive back Asante Samuel got a handful of Hester’s pants and pants’d him.

There’s no truth to the rumor that Hester was offering a show of support for his quarterback who’s been making an ass of himself for years.

Actually I’m surprised/disappointed that this doesn’t happen more often in football and how did Chris Collinsworth and Al Michaels — the announcers — not react at all? That big ol’ ass busted out of those pants.

I wish someone would pull down the front of Brady Quinn’s pants for me.

As a Bears fan I was only half heartedly watching the game in disgust so this incident just caught the corner of my eye and I wondered if I had imagined it because no mention was made. I had thought that the newer, tighter uniform pants were belted better; I am glad to see otherwise. Would be nice to have it happen more often.
And yes, I do think it was a wonderful reflection of Jay Cutler's performance and season.

I think Collinsworth did when he said "just barely".
